Your journey begins from Amritsar as you head towards Haridwar, the gateway to the Char Dham Yatra. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax.

Evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri – Experience the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, where thousands of devotees gather to witness the divine spectacle of lamps floating on the sacred river.

Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot (180 km / 6-7 hrs)

After breakfast, drive towards Barkot, a beautiful town nestled in the Himalayan foothills and the base for the Yamunotri Yatra. En route, enjoy scenic views of Mussoorie’s Kempty Falls.

Upon arrival in Barkot, check into your hotel and rest for the night.

Day 3: Barkot to Yamunotri Darshan (6 km trek) – Return to Barkot

Early morning, drive to Janki Chatti, the starting point of the 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple. You can trek or hire a pony/palki for convenience.

Visit Yamunotri Temple – Dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, this temple is one of the holiest river sources in India. Take a dip in the hot water springs at Surya Kund and seek blessings.

Return to Barkot for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi (100 km / 4-5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi, a holy town situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Check into your hotel and visit:

Vishwanath Temple – One of the oldest Shiva temples in North India.

Shakti Temple – Famous for the huge trident of Goddess Durga.

Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Gangotri Darshan (100 km / 4-5 hrs) – Return to Uttarkashi

Early morning, depart for Gangotri, one of the holiest places in Hinduism.

Return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (220 km / 8-9 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Guptkashi, a small town known for its spiritual significance and proximity to Kedarnath.

Visit Ardhnarishwar Temple & Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Day 7: Guptkashi to Kedarnath (30 km drive + 16 km trek)

Early morning, drive to Sonprayag and proceed towards Gaurikund, the base camp for the Kedarnath trek (16 km). You can either trek or take a helicopter ride.

Visit Kedarnath Temple – One of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, this temple is set amidst the majestic Garhwal Himalayas.

Overnight stay in Kedarnath.

Day 8: Kedarnath to Guptkashi (16 km trek + 30 km drive)

After the morning aarti and darshan at Kedarnath Temple, trek back to Gaurikund and return to Guptkashi for an overnight stay.

Day 9: Guptkashi to Badrinath (190 km / 8 hrs)

After breakfast, drive towards Badrinath, one of the most revered Vaishnavite pilgrimage sites.

Visit Badrinath Temple – Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, this temple is a sacred part of the Char Dham Yatra. Take a dip in Tapt Kund (hot spring) before darshan.

Explore Mana Village – The last Indian village near the Tibet-China border.

Overnight stay in Badrinath.

Day 10: Badrinath to Rudraprayag (160 km / 6-7 hrs)

After morning darshan at Badrinath, proceed towards Rudraprayag, one of the five Panch Prayags, where the Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers merge.
